Gran E.B.’s 90th Birthday!
-Called her
-Made her HBD video edit w/ wishes from hikers & friends. She loved it!
-Start hiking 7:30 am
-Find Boss Lady on ground unable to get up after she tripped!
-Hot day as I approach Mexican Restaurant Maria Bonita
-Waiter Luis is a stud! Loves hikers, I get Muchacho burrito. Eat it all. 2 cokes. Sat w/ Houdini & Miso
-Nap on sidewalk outside restaurant for 30 min
-At peak heat start hiking and it begins to cool.
-Rip the climb up the mountainside, run the downhill down to camp
-Enjoy Turkey sub w/ avocado I got from Big Mouth Pizza. Squad at camp: Faith, Addy Daddy, Twoshot, Gummy bear, EEeeeee, Daniel (New to trail day 1!) Dory, Noellia
